The coffee grind guide
Here are some simple rules to grinding your own coffee beans to make the best brew outside and at home.
1. Always grind your own coffee beans!
2. Measure beans before you grind to get the right amount
3. Use a burr grinder (like a Porlex) when you can. Feels good, let’s you daydream for a few minutes and is great for on the road grinding.
4. Once you grind it, extract it right away for the freshest taste!
5. Experiment with your type of coffee, grind, quantities, method and brew times to see what works best with your palette.
